October is a fun month for me! I have a specific reason to be creative each year - Halloween costumes! I'm starting a thread to ask everyone - do you feel you are a creative person, and how do you use your creativity? What do you do with it that is most satisfying? For myself, yes I feel I'm creative. I use it in several different ways. I daydream stories and sometimes write them down. I sew Halloween costumes, frequently without a pattern or having to alter a pattern to get what I want. I draw, when I have a lot of time to spare and the right mood. I'll even say building my own designs in Legos counts. As far as being satisfying, I think drawing and sewing the costumes are the most satisfying ways I use my creativity. I'm not sure if that's because these two are the hardest to do and take the most creative thinking, or because there is a tangible finished product to show off. Ok, what about the rest of you? Who's creative?

I believe I am creative. I do some writing myself. I also wrote poetry at some stage. I think of things and sometimes make them work. Even at my work I sometimes find creative solutions for a technical problem, although more often than not my creativity is wasted on my work. I was never good at drawing - I wished I had, but I just wasn't. For the same reason, I thought I wouldn't be good at painting Warhammer miniatures, but I am. I guess that's more type of colouring in than actual painting

We'll count it! And I remember some of your writing from the old IWD. I liked it. I miss the old days!
